WSB has a strong core of volunteer officers and directors that donate a lot time and effort to promote bowhunting in Washington. Through their efforts and sacrifice we have been able to maintain our hunting seasons and keep the anti-hunters at bay.

Directors serve for a period of two years. There are 4 Eastside, 4 Westside, and 3 At-large director positions.

Duties for the Board of Directors

1. Attend WDFW and Wildlife Commission meetings that deal with season setting and testify regarding bowhunting seasons in accordance with Board decisions.
2. Write letters to the WDFW, Wildlife Commission or elected officials relating to WSB issues.
3. Write 2 articles a year for the WSB newsletter.
4. Contact regional biologists for information on herd dynamics and hunting prospects and report your information to the WSB board/membership.
5. Recruit new members for WSB.
6. Read and abide by the WSB bylaws and meeting conduct requirements.
7. Respect the right of others to express their own opinions.
8. Attend 4 annual board meetings.
9. Attend and help with Banquet. (Setup, take down, auction, donations, etc.)
10. Attend and help with Rendezvous.
11. Help find speakers for various WSB events.
12. Help man booth at Sportsman shows.
13. Serve as WSB representative on various councils, advisory groups, etc.
